Fink Appointed Subcommittee Chair on Boroughs for House Local Government Committee

HARRISBURG – Rep. Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion) was appointed to serve as the subcommittee chair on boroughs for the House Local Government Committee this week. In this role, she will support boroughs local to District 94 and across the Commonwealth while advocating for small government and the constituents it serves.

“Ensuring government plays a specific, but limited role in the lives of citizens is one of the reasons I was motivated to run for office,” said Fink. “Our municipal governments work daily to serve their residents, and in this new capacity, I am ready to support that work across the state of Pennsylvania.

“I look forward to advancing initiatives through the committee that instill the proper role of government, accountability and transparency.”

As subcommittee chair, Fink will work alongside her colleagues in the House Local Government Committee to review legislation and develop solutions tailored to the unique needs of Pennsylvania’s boroughs. Fink has served on this committee since she first took office in 2023.
