Concealed Carry Seminar


Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Springettsbury Township Building, 1501 Mount Zion Road, York

Join me for an informational presentation by a licensed attorney about the Commonwealth’s firearms laws, Castle Doctrine and concealed carry permitting process. Pvt. Myles Ness Bridge Dedication

Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m., Kreutz Creek Bridge in Windsor Township

Join us for a ceremony dedicating the Kreutz Creek Bridge in Windsor Township in honor of York County native Myles Ness who was born on Dec. 4, 1892. He joined the U.S. Army in 1919 and served in the 6th Infantry Regiment as a Private. This regiment was part of the 5th Infantry Division during World War I, fighting in several campaigns, including the renowned Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Ness was wounded in action after an attack with mustard gas, but he survived the war. He died on May 15, 1958, and is buried at the Zion United Methodist Church in Windsor Township.
