Fink: Grants Awarded for District 94 Fire, EMS

February 12, 2026

HARRISBURG – Grant funding was awarded to 10 first responder companies that serve the 94th Legislative District under the PA Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program, according to Rep. Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion).

The funding comes from an ongoing grant program created by the Legislature which is administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and Office of the State Fire Commissioner (OSFC). Projects eligible for funding include construction or renovation of a fire or ambulance company facility, purchase or repair of equipment, training, or reduction of existing debt.

“Every day, our hard-working fire and EMS personnel make sacrifices to ensure our communities are protected when emergencies arise,” said Fink. “These grants are a small gesture of our appreciation that will allow our volunteer first responders to make needed equipment and safety upgrades. I’m glad to see these dollars invested in critical services without using any General Fund tax revenue.”

The following grants were awarded within District 94:

   • Airville Volunteer Fire Co., $12,014.
   • Alliance Fire and Rescue Services Inc., $28,136.
   • Craley Community Fire Co., $14,075.
   • Lake Clarke Rescue Inc., $12,014.
   • Laurel Fire Co. No. 1, $13,663.
   • New Bridgeville Memorial Fire Co., $12,014.
   • Red Lion Area Ambulance Association, $15,000.
   • Springettsbury Township Volunteer Fire Co., $14,075.
   • Southern York County EMS, $45,000.
   • York Area United Fire and Rescue, $16,136.

The funding amounts are contingent on the recipients filing their grant agreements with the Office of State Fire Commissioner.
