Fink Announces State Grants for Local Infrastructure Improvements
March 18, 2026
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion) today announced the approval of two Local Share Account (LSA) grants that will support important infrastructure improvements in Delta Borough and Red Lion Borough.
“Maintaining strong and reliable infrastructure is essential for the well-being and growth of our communities,” said Fink. “These LSA grants will allow our boroughs to address critical needs, improve public safety, and protect important local roadways for motorists and pedestrians. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support these projects and ensure taxpayer dollars are invested with the future in mind.”
The following grants have been awarded:
• $74,549 to support the reconstruction of a portion of Bunker Hill Avenue between Main Street and the municipal boundary. The project includes milling, regrading and repaving approximately 350 linear feet of roadway, as well as installing new asphalt curbing.
• $72,234 to address critical repair needs on the Charles Street Bridge. Although the bridge remains in fair condition, earlier repairs are deteriorating, leading to concrete spalling and exposed rebar. Without remediation, the bridge could face load restrictions or potential closure of the Red Lion Mile pedestrian and cyclist route.
The funding was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). State law provides for the distribution of gaming revenues from Category 4 licensed facilities through the CFA to support projects in the public interest within host counties.
